How to get there
By train every day to Kunstmeile Krems
Hourly train connections from Vienna and St. Pölten. From the station
take the city bus (line # 1) to the stop Franz-Zeller-Platz. From there
walk back to the roundabout and you will see Kunsthalle Krems on your
left-hand side at a distance of 50m; on workdays the city bus is
operated every half hour (20/50).
Or walk from the train station for
some 15 minutes over Ringstraße, past Stadtpark to the roundabout, where
you will see Kunsthalle Krems on your right.
By car
From Vienna or Salzburg take the A1 motorway and from St. Pölten/Ost the S33 to Krems.
Alternative:
From Vienna on the A22 take the S5 direction Krems at exit Stockerau.
In the city area, the traffic guidance system will guide you to
KUNSTMEILE KREMS and hence directly to Kunsthalle.
Travel time
Both by train and by car from Vienna or Linz ca. 1 hour, from St. Pölten ca. 30 minutes.
By taxi
The Krems radio taxis can be reached at (02732) 1718. Order a shared taxi ('Anrufsammeltaxi' in German), which will take you to the entrance of Kunsthalle for only EUR 2.50 on weekends.
